Queer-led experiences in Mexico City for curious travelers

Explore Mexico through queer, feminist, and local perspectives. Discover the stories, food, art, and culture that most traditional tours leave out.

Welcome to MxCity for the Girls, Gays & They's

CDMX has plenty of tours. I’m interested in the stories they leave out.

I create experiences that connect history, culture, food, art, nightlife, and everyday life through a queer, feminist, and community-rooted perspective.

Whether you want to uncover Mexico City’s queer history, explore the women behind its art movements, eat your way through the city, venture beyond CDMX, or build an experience around your own interests, you’ll get more than a list of facts and photo stops.

You’ll get context, honest stories, local recommendations, and a guide who genuinely wants you to understand and fall in love with the place you’re visiting.

What Guests Are Saying

What makes me different?

MxCity for the Girls, Gays & They’s was born from my years of traveling before the days of social media, Airbnbs, and Google Maps. I relied on local recommendations, sometimes finding myself in unexpectedly wild situations, and quickly realized that the challenges I faced as a queer solo traveler could be multiplied for others. I wanted to create experiences I would have loved to find back then: safe, community-rooted spaces that feel personal, fun, and far from the typical “clock in, clock out” tour.

Community-Rooted

Every tour supports local queer spaces, artists, and businesses, ensuring your experience benefits the people who call Mexico City home.

Authentic & Inclusive

I celebrate the real stories of feminists, activists, and queer folks (no pink-washed, cookie-cutter tours), and create safe spaces for everyone.

Experiences That Connect

More than sightseeing, my tours are about meeting people, sharing stories, and building friendships that last.

Meet Tania

I’m a cocktail enthusiast, dog mom, avid reader, lucha libre fan, and the creator of  MxCity for the Girls, Gays & They’s.

I’m also the person answering your messages, planning your tour, doing research, checking the calendar, and showing you around Mexico City.

My goal is simple: educate, entertain, and help people connect with Mexico through experiences that feel personal, welcoming, and genuinely worth your time.

Whether you’re here to learn something new, find a safe space to explore, eat something delicious, or just hang out with someone who knows the city, I’m here to make the experience truly yours.
