Mexico is one of the most colorful countries in Latin America, with amazing food and impressive art, but its true power lies in the stories that history books usually ignore and the system tries to erase.
This is a deep dive into the B-Side of Mexico’s history. We’ll explore the layers of the city that go unnoticed unless someone points them out. From the gender fluidity of our indigenous roots to the fierce feminists, queer baddies, and indigenous activists who have fought hand-in-hand for equality.
What to expect
Think of this as a long walk with a friend who knows all the secrets that lie underneath the concrete. We’re not here for a dry history lesson or to memorize dates and buildings… we’re here for the gossip!
We’ll dive into the bold and sometimes heartbreaking stories that the official history books decided aren’t important enough to mention:
- The hidden lives of national icons whose official biographies conveniently leave out the best parts.
- How history has spent centuries trying to bury the achievements of marginalized communities.
- The scandalous Dance of the 41, the courage of the Muxes, and the messy reality of resistance that defines our country today.
The Journey
- We’ll wander through Colonia Guerrero’s local highlights, stroll through Parque Alameda and Bellas Artes, walk past grand monuments, and visit the city’s queer corridors.
- We’ll end our journey at Plaza Santo Domingo to wrap it all up with a different perspective of the city.

The ultimate way to do it. This includes an extra hour and a welcome (or farewell) meal at a local gem. We’ll sit down, share some traditional food, and have plenty of time to get to know each other.

Our tours welcome AFAB, femme-presenting, queer travelers, solo adventurers, and allies. Allies are encouraged to be respectful and mindful. Our goal is to keep our community safe and inclusive for everyone.
Absolutely! You’ll join a female-led tour and choose between a group or private experience. You’re also welcome to reach out directly to check availability and options, we want everyone to feel safe and comfortable.
Yes! Beyond group experiences, we can arrange tours inside or outside the city, tailored to your interests, group size, and budget. You get to focus on what excites you most, the places you want to explore, the stories you want to hear, and the experiences you want to live.
