Street food is the ultimate gateway to the soul of Mexican culture. This tour is a curated walk through the heart of Mexico City, designed to showcase the soul of our cuisine: the family-owned gems, the street stands, and the ancestral flavors that define our daily life.
This tour explores the history of México through the legacy of indigenous cooks, the sweet traditions that have survived since the 19th century, and everything in between.
We’ve selected stops that balance tradition with a cool-local vibe, ensuring everything is 100% natural and vegan-friendly:
Mexico City’s weather is unpredictable, so we’ll play it by ear to give you the best experience:

Our tours welcome AFAB, femme-presenting, queer travelers, solo adventurers, and allies. Allies are encouraged to be respectful and mindful. Our goal is to keep our community safe and inclusive for everyone.
Absolutely! You’ll join a female-led tour and choose between a group or private experience. You’re also welcome to reach out directly to check availability and options, we want everyone to feel safe and comfortable.
Yes! Beyond group experiences, we can arrange tours inside or outside the city, tailored to your interests, group size, and budget. You get to focus on what excites you most, the places you want to explore, the stories you want to hear, and the experiences you want to live.
Since MxCity for the Girls, Gays & They’s is a small, woman-led business, I personally manage all bookings, calendars, and tour confirmations. This keeps everything warm, human, and flexible, but it also means the easiest way to reserve your spot is to book directly with me.
For direct bookings:
Book through a platform:
I know there’s a lot of debate when it comes to third-party booking platforms, I always recommend Exploring Not Boring, since they’re also a community-led small business and align with our values. You can also find some of my tours on WithLocals and Airbnb Experiences, but please keep in mind that these platforms take large commissions and often overcharge customers, so prices there are higher.
No matter how you book, your spot is safe, but booking directly helps support queer-led, ethical tourism in Mexico City.
No worries! We know that planning a trip or trying something new can feel overwhelming. If you’re unsure about anything, just reach out, we’re happy to answer your questions before you book. Send us a quick message on WhatsApp and we’ll help you out.
